System: PS4 Version 5.0 Game Version: 1.0

Technical: Coming up on 20 hours of gameplay without any crashes. Occasionally the frame rate drops, but it's debatable whether I would have noticed if I wasn't looking for it and it never interfered with gameplay.

Visual: The visuals are gorgeous with new maps that are fun and easy to traverse. Most of the enemy types will be familiar to fans of the series though given a graphical facelift and additional animations to fit with the new setting. Character portraits in the cutscenes are beautiful as always, though not animated [blinking, idle movement] as they were in Megadimension. 3D Character models are fluid and battle effects are suitably flashy, borderline distracting.

Gameplay: Combat is snappy and fast-paced once it is engaged, but melee enemies are sometimes unresponsive unless provoked. This is actually ideal for when you need to speed-run dungeons collecting upgrade materials, so I came to appreciate this later. Difficulty will depend on your playstyle, if you stick with the same four person party all the time and make full use of equipment upgrades and gems you will be comfortably overpowered for most of the main game.

Sound: Music is good and the voice cast from the previous game returns with the exception of Noire who has a new voice actress. The current actress does a good job all things considered, but if you're a long time fan of the series you will likely miss the original Noire actress as I did.

Additional Notes: There is a 2-minute loading screen each time you start the game, but little to no loading after that which makes transitioning between the different dungeons and town quick and seamless.

The game is slow to start in more ways than one though. For the first two hours I was underwhelmed by the story and frustrated by enemies that felt like damage sponges. But once you get access to the CPU Candidates as characters and you upgrade your starting weapons the game becomes surprisingly easy and enjoyable. You do get sent back to town if your controlled character dies, but you keep all of your experience, items and currency so there's really no consequence to dying and you're that much stronger when you go back. The shops are all pretty cheap, though I never bought consumable items as I was swimming in them from drops and quests alone. The only exception would be keyrings to unlock chests as these can sometimes be hard to find and the gear in locked chests are worth buying a few keyrings so you never have to pass up a chest.

Drop rates are probably the only complaint I have about the game. Rare drops are so rare as to be almost non-existent and unfortunately prevent you from fully upgrading your equipment. There are in-game ways of boosting drop rates so maybe this can be rectified, but unless you're watching the text scroll like a hawk you'll have to figure out which enemies drop which loot by trial and error.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and once the story took off I looked forward to every major and minor event for the great dialogue and character interactions. This is really Vert's time to shine in many ways [just as Noire and Blanc had their spin-offs] but Neptune steals the show as always and lots of familiar faces make cameos throughout the game, though it left me wanting more. Given how DLC heavy most Neptunia games are I was surprised by how little DLC was available [as of this writing] but all of it was free so that's a plus. Even though I dislike DLC as a rule, I would have happily paid a few bucks for more playable characters [Plutia, Iffy and Compa are sadly only NPCs this time around]. This has become one of my favorite Neptunia games to date and revitalizes the series in many ways for those that were turned off by Megadimension or burned out on the established format. A must have for neptunia fans.

Honestly its a decent hack and slash game with a MMORPG atmosphere and some mechanics. I have completed the story and post story stuff, this does feel a bit short but there are other cons to the game that weight it down. It has potential but Its not a bad game or a very good one.

Cons: I found it odd that there was very few enemy varities and boss varities. The outfits feel less inspired and not as fun or interesting as the previous game. The loading that took minutes just to get into the main menu, the game isn't even that large its a measly 4.7 GBs not including the add-ons which should be on the disc its a waste of a 50GB capacity Blu-ray.

It has frame rate issues which slowdown too much and ruins the flow of action. There's a problematic bug in which the characters get stuck in a boss. Functions like locking on, Guarding, attacking sometimes don't work which again gets annoying. Playing from 1Gen PS4 wtih stock HDD.The game has crashed on me once so far and I had about maybe 40 hours into it. Companies need to stop getting lazy and spend more time bug testing their games, so far there is no patch and I had already completed the game.

I had to use only the main 4 CPU's because the strengthen armor/weapon is held back by enemy drops which means the others and the goddesses are very limited in stats and most of the drops are only available in the very last part of the post game which by that time your already done with the game and most likely burnt out by its near mediocre entertainment. That really was a bummer especially since I like using Nepgear [Mage], the 4 goddesses are pretty limited till the very end once your able to get the red ring part which is needed for strengthening their defenses, someone did not think this out when it came to the loot.

Last thing would be replay value, I don't see much replay vaule from this game at all.

Also the humor and the fanservice feels soo tame, its like they didn't want to offend anyone such as SJW's so they toned down humor and other things like language. The interactions and scenes are a huge part of what make the series lovable.

Apart from what I've said it seems like they improved with the graphics with them switching over to Unreal Engine 4. I did enjoy some of the small details they put in some places like the character cards. The game isn't bad as I said but it could have used some more time and thinking.

This title is a worth while game to pick up. I love the unreal engine, the maps are no longer just flat. Pros: Music is decent. 4th wall break within 4th wall breaks. Story is light hearted and extremely hilarious. Battle system is better than star ocean 5. Graphics are good, better than star ocean 5. Free DLC's for costumes and items that increase stats permanently. You'll be plenty busy with things to do after you beat the game.

Cons: While you can easily spend 100 hours farming for gears, the story itself is about 10 hours if you rush and skip farming. The loading screen every time you start up the game is about 3 minutes, but good thing thats the only time it loads. Unskippable company logo/safety/legal warnings, which add another 2 minutes at startup. I bought a physical copy, and yet I have to install it onto my hard drive anyway...5 gigs gone :[ No item index, now I don't know where to get items that I need. But there is always google.

Overall, it's a step in the right direction for the neptunia series. I'll give it 4 stars since it's not the best game ever made, but still pretty good.

How long to beat 4 goddesses online?

When focusing on the main objectives, Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online is about 13½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 26½ Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Who are the playable characters in 4 goddesses online?

Characters. Unlike the previous Tamsoft-made action games for the series, only the four CPUs, Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Vert, and their sisters Nepgear, Uni, Ram and Rom are the only ones playable, along with the four divine goddesses in the later parts of the story.

How do you revive in 4 goddesses online?

Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses OnlineThe only item that you can revive is the Alchemist Stone I've seen so far. It works like a Sacrificial Doll [you die, it consumes automatically for you to revive].

What is the max level in Cyberdimension Neptunia 4 goddesses online?

The max used to be 99 while it was in Japan only. Then eventually they added an update with extra weapons, quests and the level 200 cap.
