With the online help to fix no signal on hdmi cable on older soniq tv they all
Say is to go to display settings or video playback and find hdmi. Nowhere in my settings can I find anything relating to hdmi.

It also gives another option of right clicking volume and finding video playback. No option that way either

Anyone have any ideas how to find what they are talking about

Hi,
HDMI no signal error usually occurs due to faulty HDMI cable or un-supported type of HDMI cable or speed of the data transmission of the cable to the screen is not good enough for display.
Before diving into complex troubleshooting steps, first check your hardware. Make sure that the HDMI cable is inserted correctly and all the connections are fully functional.
1. Make sure that your HDMI device is the Default Device
Right-click on the volume icon on the taskbar.
Select Playback devices and in the newly open Playback tab, simply select Digital Output Device or HDMI.
Select Set Default, click OK.
Now, the HDMI sound output is set as default.

  1. Check the display output settings
Right-click your desktop and click Personalize.
    Click Display
Check if youre able to see the TV as a second monitor.

If you cant see your TV on the screen, follow steps below:
On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and P at the same time.
Click Duplicate.
If Duplicate doesnt work, try switching to Extend.
After that, check to see if Windows can detect your TV.

  1. Install or Update Display Drivers using Device Manager
To update the display drivers, go to Start -> Type device manager -> enter
In the next screen, select display adapters -> Select Intel UHD Graphics 620 or any other options that you see under display adapters.
Right-click on Intel UHD Graphics 620-> update drivers -> two options will pop-up on the screen: Manual update option as Browser for drivers on the computer and automatic update option would be listed as Search automatically for updated drivers software.

Hope above information can help you.
