Is Tidus playable in FFX 2?
Bearpowers posted... YamiJustin posted...NPCs/fiends can and MUST equip a dressphere and garment grid. They get added abilities/auto-abilities/stat increases from these equips. They cannot perform a sphere change in battle and do not have additional sprites for equipping different dresspheres. There are 170 capture-able creatures! There are 8 additional slots for creatures. On the main menu, there is an added 'Party Members' option and a 'Creature' option. The former lets you arrange your party, the latter lets you customize and develop your creature. All creatures come in sizes. YRP are small, so they are S-size. Then you have medium M-size creatures like the Chimera. And L-size large fiends like Behemoth. Consider an S-size a 1, an M-size a 2, and a L-size a 3. You cannot have a party larger than 3, so you can do 1 Small + 1 Medium in the party, or 1 Large by itself, or 3 Smalls, etc. All creatures have 'Fiend Tales'. When you capture a creature it'll be on Fiend Tale level 1, which is the beginning of that particular fiend's story. You level it up once to increase the story and continue the tale. 4 level-ups will get the Ending available. To view the Ending of that creature, you must release it into the wild + view the ending. This adds the ending to the Bestiary and usually does other things: you get Pods used for capturing more creatures, sometimes you get good items or accessories, or you'll unlock other fiends for capture, or you'll unlock secret tournaments. Using the 'Creature' menu, you can feed accessories and items to your creature in quantities to teach them stuff. Like feeding x1 Dark Matter to a fiend teaches Meteor. Or 99x Potions teaches Cure + adds a small amount of HP and MP. There are a bunch of things to learn. Keep in mind they cannot learn more than 4 abilities or more than 4 auto-abilities (you can have more than 4 by using accessories, etc.) They also learn abilities and auto-abilities from being hit by specific attacks during battle, some require being at a certain level, etc. If you do a New Game + you keep the creatures you had the same you would an accessory.

What happens to Tidus in FFX 2?Tidus hypothesizes they had traveled a thousand years into the past. They explore the forest hoping to find a clue on how to return home when Tidus is hit from behind by a brown ball. He kicks it and it blows up, killing him. Yuna sees his body fade away and passes out.
Why does Tidus disappear?Tidus does not exist. He is a dream of the Fayth who were the original inhabitants of Zanarkand. They dreamed up a new Zanarkand and inhabitants to continue living on their legacy. Tidus disappears when the Fayth wake up.
