Jaeger LeCoultre Gold Cup 2023
Massive June Issue with New Property Section

The June issue of Polo Times will be winging its way to you later this week, and it is a massive 116 pages packed full of polo. This issue takes an in depth look at the UK high goal season with a comprehensive guide to all the teams in The Cartier Queen’s Cup and The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup for the British Open. We also hear from players who debate the pros and cons of making changes to how the high goal works. We have also included a guide to the Victor Ludorum series and there are reports galore from the US Open, Copa de la Naciones, The Prince of Wales Trophy and La Martina Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother’s Centenary Trophy. The fun filled pages continue with our usual news, club news and round-ups from women’s, youth and military polo. Fitness for Polo focus on the tricky nearside back hand bio-mechanics and our vet for the issue, Susie Richards, continues her three part series on how to manage breeding at home. We also include our regular slot for prize winning ponies in Pony Power and our charity focus shines a spotlight on Polo Pastures and their work with retired polo ponies. New for June is the introduction of a brand new feature spotlighting polo properties, who doesn’t love pouring over plots of flat land with polo potential?

Our social sidelines are brimming with action from the pony lines at the first summer tournaments and plenty of pre season party action. Finally, we hear about the face behind the Images of Polo lens, Tony Ramirez in our Passions feature. Click here to subscribe now.

Where is the next Gold Cup 2023?

Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games venue SoFi Stadium is set to host the final of the 2023 Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Gold Cup.

How often is the Gold Cup?

The Gold Cup is held every two years. The tournament succeeded the CONCACAF Championship (1963–1989), with its inaugural edition being held in 1991. North American Football Union's members Canada, United States and Mexico are the only three nations to have won the tournament.

Who qualifies for the Gold Cup?

All national teams that are members of CONCACAF are eligible to enter the qualification for the Gold Cup. A total of 41 distinct entities have made attempts to qualify for the Gold Cup.

What does Concacaf stand for?

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) was founded in 1961 and serves as the organizing body for 41 national associations, including the United States, and spans from Canada in the north to Suriname in the south.
