The NBA is back, and returning to a traditional 82 game schedule. After the NBA Preseason in early October, the NBA Regular Season will tip off on October 19, 2022. There will be a break for All-Star Weekend, leading up to the NBA All-Star Game on February 19, 2023 at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. Once the season resumes, it will be a race to the finish — culminating in the NBA Play-In Tournament and NBA Playoffs, which are scheduled to begin on April 23, 2023. Be sure to favorite your team in the Ticketmaster app to get alerts as soon as tickets go on sale.
NBA Playoffs
The NBA Playoffs will be preceded by the Play-In Tournament, where the 7th through 10th ranked teams in both conferences compete for their spot in the playoffs. The NBA Playoffs will then take place starting in April of 2023 and running until the NBA Finals begin in June of 2023. They’ll feature the top eight teams from each conference competing in a best of seven series as they look to advance to the following rounds.
NBA Finals
The NBA Playoffs reach their apex each year with the NBA Finals; a winner takes all, best of seven series between the top teams from the Western and Eastern Conferences. In the 2022 NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics in a hard fought six game series to capture their fourth Larry O’Brien Trophy since 2015.
