Starters Listening Part 1 Test 3 checks your ability to listen to names and descriptions. You see a big picture showing people doing things. You have to move the name to the person the people are describing.

You will hear a girl and her grandma talking about a classroom photo. Put the names in the right places in the photo.

Look at the picture. Listen and look. There is one example.

A: Do you like this photo of my classroom Grandma?
B: Yes, I do, its a nice photo, so whos that girl walking into the classroom. The one with red hair.
A: Shes got a lot of books.
B: Yeah she has.

Can you see Kims name? This is an example. Now you listen and put the names next to the right person.

Question 1
A: Look grandma theres my friend Anna.
B: Oh yes, shes writing some numbers on the board.
A: Yeah she loves math.

Question 2
B: So, whats your teachers name?
A: Miss White, shes very nice and I love her lessons as theyre fun.
B: Oh thats great to hear. Look shes smiling in the photo.
A: Yes shes always very happy to teach us.

Question 3
B: And whos that boy? The one with the brown hair and glasses.
A: Thats Tom. Hes smart and knows the answer to the question. He helps me sometimes with math.
B: Thats nice of him.

Question 4
B: What about this girl? She isnt looking at the teacher but just looking in her bag.
A: Oh yeah thats Becky, thats her new bag.
B: I like her red bag.
A: Me too, its cool.

Question 5
A: Can you see Bill?
B: No, wheres he sitting?
A: Right here, next to Becky.
B: Oh yes, I can see him. Hes writing something in his book.
A: Yeah, he loves writing stories and drawing too.
