Andalou beta hydroxy recovery cream review

I hope you all are doing great. I have been investing a lot in skincare as I want my natural glow back. My skin has not been behaving well lately as the heat is Pakistan is certainly unbearable and causes a lot of skin issues. Zits and blemishes are a norm for oily skin but you ought to take care of your skin. Do not make an attempt to add layers of makeup on your face to hides those blemishes as it will look cakey and cause your skin to breakout more. Making sure our skin is healthy enough should be the priority. Recently, I received some skincare products from Andalou Naturals so, I thought it is the best time to try these out and give my skin some extra love.

MY THOUGHTS:

Instant Lift & Firm Face mask

It came in a plastic pod attached to a card board which is sufficient for one use only. The first thing I noticed about this mask was its delicious, fruit candy kind of sent. The mask contains Marula Oil, that helps restore the skin’s elasticity and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Marula oil is also rich in antioxidants, which protects the skin from any kind of damage due to sun exposure and pollution. It has a soft creamy consistency that applies smoothly on the face. One pod is enough to cover the entire face and neck. Upon drying, the mask turns transparent and stiff. I applied this mask on my mom’s face and neck as it claimed to lift and firm the skin. After half an hour, the mask completely dried and my mom washed her face. Her face looked visibly brighter and her pores seemed tighter. She had that healthy shine on her nose that you usually get after facial. The mask contains 100% vegan ingredients and is safe to use on sensitive skin too. To conclude I would say this mask has won the heart on my mom and she plans on buying more of these.

  MY THOUGHTS:

  Another thing that I gave to to my mom. The cream smells like coconuts and sweets and has a gel cream consistency. It feels sort of heavy on the application but sinks into the skin with in seconds. She managed to make three uses out of the sachet I received, and it did make her skin look a bit fresh. She didn’t feel any major change in her skin however, I did notice a slight freshness on her skin like it is hydrated and calm. This day cream contains coconut water which is, I suppose, was the reason behind her skin looking more hydrated. It did not make her skin look oily and did not breakout her skin.

    MT THOUGHTS:

    This cream has the same texture as the day cream and had a more concentrated tropical scent to it. My mom applied it for three nights continuously and every day she woke up her skin feeling quite oily. However this, like the day cream, also gave her skin a bit more hydration. She liked the results but it could have been better if it didn’t make her skin very oily.

      MY THOUGHTS:

      First thing’s first, this moisturizer smells amazing. Like a nice and soft blend of fruity and herbal scents. It has a gel cream consistency and a little goes a long way. I made 4 uses out of this small sachet and love the results. The moisturizer did not make my skin oily and left my skin feeling velvety. I did notice a little bit of shine on my nose after 4 to 5 hours but that is totally normal. It did not break me out or irritate my skin. the main ingredients of this moisturizer are Acai and White Tea Oil both rich in antioxidants that restores skin’s health and promotes blood circulation. White tea is also known to kill bacteria which helps people with acne prone skin. With 4 days of use, I noticed my skin to be softer and healthier. I still do have my acne but my face does not look dull at all.

        MY THOUGHTS:

        This product claims to do a lot of things, hence I expected a lot from this cream. It also smelled fruity and herby which did not bother me as it is not that over powering. This too goes a long a way. Only a pea sized amount is required to cover the entire face. I have used a lot of products infused with argan oil or argan and they all felt heavy and broke me out but, not this one. It has a velvety finish that instantly made my skin feel soft. My pores felt blurred and my skin felt fresher after having it on for the night and waking up next morning. It made my skin softer, healthier and my pores clearer yet it does not do anything to reduce the pigmentation caused by blemishes, as claimed.

          MY THOUGHTS:

          100 roses day cream heavily smells like sweet roses. I don’t know if sweet roses are a thing but it does not have that basic rose scent, it’s on the sweet side. I don’t know why a product designed for sensitive skin would be so heavily scented but for me it was not bothersome. This is the most emollient cream out of the bunch and feels rather heavy on the skin that takes quite some time to sink in. It is very hydrating and softens the skin immediately. If you have oily + sensitive skin then it can make you oily with in a few hours and with continuous use it might break you out. I noticed a slight increase in my acne while using this, that’s why I did not use use it till the end. I stopped right away as I am trying really hard to clear up my skin. If you have dry + sensitive skin this cream can be your life saver.

            MY THOUGHTS:

            1000 roses night cream has a strong rosy scent like the day cream. A pea size amount of the cream is enough to cover the entire face. This cream too, is very hydrating and made my skin feel like I have injected water and life into my skin. I used it around my eyes and I was amazed by the results. My eyes didn’t feel puffy and tired in the morning. I used this product as an under eye cream for some time and I am definite going to try our the actual eye cream from this line. I noticed a difference in the color of the skin around my eyes. It seemed brighter and more youthful. In a nut shell, it is a nice, luxurious and multi purpose cream for sensitive skin.

            This particular product I was really excited to try out as it is a new concept to me. It is a sponge made of vegetable fibers and clays to naturally cleanse, exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. The sponge came in a hard form that had to be soaked in warm water to soften up for using it on the skin. I am using the green one as it is for problematic skin. It expands and becomes double in size when soaked in water. I used it with and without cleanser and the results were same because it mainly soaked up all the cleanser. The second time I used it, I washed my face normally with a cleanser and then gently massaged my face with the wet konjac sponge. At first I did not see any difference. It is so soft, you can hardly tell any difference it is making to your skin. However, after drying your skin, you will be amazed to see and feel the difference in your skin. With three uses my skin started becoming softer and smoother. I have a healthy glow on my cheek bones and nose and my acne started shrinking within a week of use. It is reusable and can last up to 3 months with proper care. The key is to keep the sponge clean and let it dry 90% in an airy place, before another use if not 100%. I use it every night and I am in love with this product. Do I recommend this? ABSOLUTELY YES!
