Apple Music playlist submission Reddit

I love Apple Music, and there's no question in mind that it's the superior all-around service. (I know that the best streaming service is the streaming service that is best for you. Apple Music is that to me.) That being said, I am always disappointed that we don't get the same sort of cool infographics and sharables that Spotify offers.

I am sure people will point to third-party options - but these are all pretty limited in what they can do. And since they are third party, there's no consistency between various posts you'll see on social media.

Other people might ask why I need to share my year end tracks and artists on social media. I certainly don't need to do so - but I think it's fun, and I want to do so.

What makes it more maddening is that these sort of fun sharables are free advertising for the streaming platform in question. When Spotify started doing it, it made me realize just how many of my friends had Spotify!

Come on, Apple. Those year-end playlists just aren't cutting it.

After Apple removed Connected feature from Apple Music, the Curators list disappeared. But the curator page/profile can be accessed.

Anybody knows where I can find the curators list in Apple Music?

Anyone know’s a good house/techHouse/minimal deep tech, on Apple Music or Spotify playlist to share my new release?

Does anyone know any music curators / reviewers or people who generally put together good playlists. Most playlists that Apple Music make are normally songs that are in the charts and are normally easy to discover those songs as their always played.

It’s a thing? Someone has experience in that? It has worth the time to do one/ submit to one? I’d love to hear your thoughts about it.

hey everyone !!

so I've had these's playlists on Apple Music that have been doing really well so I wanted to open them up to independent producers, so I built a website where people can submit there music to it and I'll add some stuff I think is good, I feel like there's lots of playlists out there by companies so I wanted to try and do something for the independent guys that won't be backed by a label with big playlists !! anyway you don't have to submit your stuff if you don't want to but I really want to connect with other producers and I couldn't think of a better way to do it than this !! if you don't believe me check my website

I’m looking to grow my band’s listener base on Apple Music but haven’t been able to find much about Apple Music playlists and the submission process (if there is one).

Does anyone have experience or information on how I might approach this?

Hey y'all,

I've been releasing music on the major streaming platforms and Spotify has the option to 'pitch' your songs to playlist curators, which I've done. does anybody know if Apple Music has a similar function or any other way to get your music to be considered for playlists on there, or does it just happen automatically?
