Will there be iPhone in 2024?

Come 2024 – Apple’s Changing The Game Forever

With the notch and notchless features making most of the noise in the past few months, Apple iPhone 14 was expected to turn a lot of heads because of the subtle changes but that will have to wait a bit. Even though there are some changes and a notchless display has been given the green light, there’s nothing to compare yet with what’s coming for you Apple fans in the coming years. With the coming years, we mean 2024 when Apple’s finally changing gears by rolling out the first ever full-screen display enabled phone with their iPhone 16 model.

We’re not saying this. This bold prediction comes from noted Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, who is known for making accurate predictions about Apple and the recent iOS and other iPhone updates we’ve seen in the past. He predicts Apple will roll-out a device, most probably iPhone 16, that will be all display and nothing else. With the camera going behind or beneath the display screen, this one’s going to turn a lot of heads and make some noise.

What’s Kuo Quoting?

According to Kuo, the tech giant will adopt an under-display front camera and Face-ID. The timing suggests that the changes would most likely be introduced on the iPhone 16 Pro.

The analyst also wrote on his Twitter account that the full-screen iPhones will arrive in 2024 and that the feature will be seen on Apple’s most high-end iPhones. He also went on to say that low-light conditions would be vital to the quality of the front camera along with enhancements in ISP and algorithms.

Kuo also talked about the seamless and endless possibilities that one can get with the iPhone models coming out in 2024:

Pill-Shaped Cut-Out For Face ID

If other rumours are to be believed, there’s going to be a dynamic change when it comes to the Face ID when the display becomes an entire screen and that’s why Kuo’s words are not that strange. We might just see that become reality in a couple of years.

The Face ID feature will have a pill-shaped cut-out to help recognize your face and enable the iPhone to get unlocked quicker and without taking an additional second. Although, this news is still unclear but most directions have echoed this sentiment that the new iPhone generations, probably by 2023 or 2024, will have Apple ready to move the Face ID sensor under the display just like the camera, making the whole experience seamless and out of the world.

Whether we actually get to see the innovation Ming-Chi Kuo is wanting or rather hoping from Apple by 2024 or not, we’re sure of one thing that the future of iPhones and iPads is certainly exciting and worth the wait.
