Pantone 2023

PANTONE 2022 is 17-3938 Very Peri.

This “blurple” color is the symbol of the global zeitgeist of the moment and the transition we are going through a more digital world. Encompassing the qualities of the blues, yet at the same time possessing a violet-red undertone, PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri displays a spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expression.

A darker version of Periwinkle Blue, the beautiful color we choose to start this year. Violet and lilacs are definitely among the key color trends for 2022, most likely to last in 2023 as well.

If you are wondering which other colors will be on trend for 2023, this long post is for you!

We are now exploring some new color trends for interiors besides Pantone 2022, by starting from it. The idea is to create some new color matches that, starting from Pantone Very Peri, can inspire you for all the upcoming year.

For doing this, I used the Pantone Connect platform, that is a tool provided by Pantone for professionals together with some research I did lately and many online inspirations.  Very Peri is a really interesting color, a mix of blue and purple, which can have many interesting color associations. In the moodboards below I collected the colors that inspired me the most – and that in my opinion will be on trend in 2023 as well.
