Southern California has become a hotspot for alien encounters over the past few years as extraterrestrial travelers continue to make their way to Countdown NYE. Hosted by Insomniac, this out of this world experience sees Earthlings and other beings dance the final hours of the year away to electronic beats – and this year’s edition is shaping up to be another epic affair.

After building up some hype this past summer with a flash sale for tickets, the biggest news that was yet to be revealed was the lineup. Today, that crucial piece of information was finally transmitted, and it’s clear that the NOS Events Center will be rocking on December 30-31.

Bass music continues to be a dominating force at Countdown NYE, with the lineup boasting of heavy hitters like ATLiens, Minnesota, Eptic, Sullivan King, and Funtcase. The b2b featuring Riot Ten and SAYMYNAME, BLOODSPORT, is sure to pack a punch as well.

Those looking to shuffle the rest of the year away to some house tunes will be stoked to know that Mikey Lion, Justin Martin, VNSSA, Habstrakt, Maya Jane Coles, and HoneyLuv are set to play. And a flurry of powerhouse artists, including deadmau5, Madeon, Zedd, ZHU, The Chainsmokers, and Galantis, will also be joining in on the fun.
