Hey guys, my name is Tyler Loong and I'm from Highland, Utah. I've been playing with the Z5 for the past 3-4 years. It was my first paddle that I ever used and I just really grew to like this paddle and learned to love it. I really like the balance of it, the weight of it, and also the feel that it gives me. I've tried other paddles before and this one just really sticks with me and so I really like the feel that it gives me.

I played the game once with a friend and was instantly hooked! I’ve taken one lesson so far and my coach was awesome!

wanted to try a wide body after using a long narrow head radical xl. I was surprised by how nice this paddle is! It has amazing pop off the face, with great control of both short and long shots. Plenty of power for a light paddle. Highly recommended

Great paddle

I bought this paddle seeing it had a big striking area and it was light weight. I have a habit of hitting to hard which usually making the ball go long.This paddle help alot seeing it was lighter. If you have the same issue a me I would recommend trying this paddle.

Had an entry-level paddle. Was searching for step up, but wanted to avoid $150 paddles as I could see no identifiable difference in materials. Decided on Onix Z5, based on several evals of best value paddles. Not disappointed. Delivers significantly more punch than my entry-level but have not lost control. Was the right compromise for me. Very much doubt spending another $50 to $70 would have delivered a much better product

Onix has converted me. The ball explodes off of this paddle. This paddle completely changed my game!

What is the difference between Z5 and Z5 mod?

The Onix Z5 Mod Middleweight Graphite Pickleball Paddle and the Onix Z5 Middleweight Graphite Pickleball Paddle are the same paddle. The only differences would reside in the name and the slightly different colorway options that they two are available in. Is the paddle thickness 13mm or 16 mm?

SLK is Selkirk's budget friendly or mid-market brand. Despite it being their budget friendly brand, there's lots of interest in the Halo series because their newly signed top female pro, Parris Todd, plays with the Halo XL Control.

Do you want 16mm or 13mm pickleball paddle?

The thinner the paddle, the more “pop” you'll get off the surface. The thicker a paddle, the more it will absorb the ball's energy. If a paddle comes in 13mm and 16mm thicknesses, 13mm will be the “power” and 16mm will be “control”. Some brands like Gearbox, Prokennex, and Diadem only have one thickness per paddle.
