Asics nimbus 19 review runner& 39 năm 2024

I've been a long time ASICS user, for about 10 years now. I really tried to like these but they are definitely inferior the Nimbus 18s that I have.

Sadly ASICS took a great shoe and made it bad. The fit is too small across the toes. It also looks like the quality of the materials is also down a notch. The soles look like they will wear down fast and the fabric material doesn't seem as robust.

If you still want to try these make sure you order your normal size but up one width since they are very tight in the toe area.

I wish I would have listened to the other reviewers on this one.

I have 5 pairs of nimbus 18. These didn’t fit properly in 10d. Something wrong. Had to return them. Don’t buy it.

Light weight and snuggle to feeling

Yet I have to try running

Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2017

I first purchased the nimbus 17, as an over pronator these shoes were great for running. I have stopped running since, but I am a teacher and I stand all day. I couldn't find comfortable shoes for the longest time until I remembered how great these were for running. I decided to spend on these and it was a great decision, even though I don't use them for running, they are my favorite running shoes.

I have been using Asics nimbus 17, 18 and 19. It's getting worst and worst. I run about 4 miles a day. Nimbus 17 is a good running shoes but 18 has a problem with heel. It was too high and you could get hurt when you run.

Nimbus 19 cushion is the worst. Asics may reduce the quality of their product to cut cost for maintaining margin. So this was my last running shoes that I bought a Asics running shoe. NO MORE.

I've always been a big Asics fan for running shoes, but these were a real disappointment. I loved my Nimbus 18s and thought that these would be comparable. But they were too tight (even though I ordered a size larger than I usually wear, per the customer comments), and they made my toes go numb on every run. And there is little to no cushioning in the forefoot. I am much happier with my new Saucony Kinvara 8s.

I've been looking for a GOOD running shoe and it appears that I have found the perfect pair. Normally I fit a men's size 11 and usually wear Nike fly knits or NB minimals, but I went to the store and tried these on, I suggest you try the shoes on in person first no matter if you had a pair or not in the past, you may have to go up or down a size, even width!!!! I found that a size 12 4E was Perfect /with plenty of toe room. I have a low arch, almost flat footed. Went for my first run of 2.5 miles today to test them and feet/calves aren't fatigued, the shoe felt really good. I love the material that is used on the inside of the shoe, it keeps your socks from sliding off the heel, the soft plush tongue, and sole firmness. I will update my review to include: quality, durability, and anything else I can think of.

I've been wearing Asics' Gel-Nimbus model since version 12. I've always done well with every version and kept going back to the same make, model & size. This is about a 10 year period. When I got these Gel-Nimbus 19s, I started having more fatigue, my times slowed dramatically and my ankles and shins were on fire. I chalked it up to lack of conditioning. I switched back to an old pair of Gel-Nimbus I had and problems were all solved immediately. I've thought the past couple versions of this shoe seemed to be getting flimsier and cheaper feeling. And the cost has gone way up. This version is the worst quality yet and I also noticed, like other commenters, these are now made in Vietnam. These are terrible running shoes at any price. As expensive as they are, it's extra bad. I noticed they were more snug than previous models, but it's hard to tell because they've removed all the supporting structure that used to add stability around the top of your foot just in front of the laces. Disappointing, but I've moved on.

I am a high milage runner, running many marathons. My shoe of choice had been Gel Nimbus, but no more. ASICS has really lowered the bar on quality and comfort with the new design of the model 19. You will find the design to be short and more narrow than normal. So be prepared to move up in size. The materials must be cheater, because the shoe does not hold up to the constant pounding of pavement, compared to previous models. This shoe may cause injuries, because the support is no where near as good as previous models. I still have two pairs of the model 17, and they are far more superior than the model 19. ASICS apparently changed the country of manufacting, the design and materials. I know the model 20 is out now. So if the model 20 is made the same as the model 19, I would avoid it as well.

Can you run in asics gel nimbus 9?

Details. The GEL-NIMBUS™ 9 sneaker was initially designed as a distance trainer for neutral and supinated runners. First released in 2007, this shoe resurfaces with original materials and key accent details.

Should I size up or down for ASICS Nimbus?

Sarah: The Nimbus 25s feel extra cushioned from the moment you put them on, they kind of hug around your foot so sizing is something to watch out for as there's a lot of real estate on the inside of the shoe so you may find you need to go half a size up, but if you do your foot is rewarded with a warm hug.
